Goku has a lot of transformations that occur throughout the Dragon Ball stories. We are at peace with those that have a basis and argument for their execution. However, we cannot be calm with some that not even the Akira Toriyama or Toyotaro—responsible for Dragon Ball Super—can explain.
A few days ago we talked about how in Dragon Ball Z, Goku appears with an unprecedented telepathy that he has never used again. When the Saiyan arrives on the planet Namekian and meets his friends, he just puts his hand on Krillin’s forehead and finds out everything they have experienced in the last few hours.
Where does that power come from? Who taught it to you? Why else have you never used it again? These are questions that it seems will never be answered.
Toyotaro is not to blame for that. It’s possible that it was a misstep on Goku’s part. However, in Dragon Ball Super it has happened again, since the Saiyan raised on Earth has executed a technique that the writers of the series have not yet explained.
Goku’s strange technique
Until now this technique has not appeared in the anime, since it is part of the Moro arc, which has only appeared in the manga. When Goku is fighting the genocidal wizard, capable of devouring an entire world, the Saiyan applies Ultra Instinct and out of nowhere an image of himself appears that seems to be made from his ki or aura.
Nobody knows the origin of this technique. Could it be that this is a representation that comes from the UItra Instinct? It’s hard to know, for now.
The truth is that with this technique he once again saved the situation, since he was able to neutralize Gas for an instant and leave him on a silver platter for Granola to give him the final blow.
