Dragon Ball is an anime that opens spaces in several different fields to the geek world. Soccer is one of them and we have seen, on several occasions, how the fans or supporters demonstrate it in their expressions of support for the different clubs around the planet.
Paris Saint-Germain is one of the teams that makes mosaics or tifos related to Dragon Ball Z the most. Some fans of MLS (Major League Soccer) teams also catch on to Toei Animation’s anime fever, based on the manga by Akira Toriyama.
But one that has surprised us recently shows the scope of anime in the world. The fans of Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca made three different mosaics – all from Dragon Ball – in the same match.
The Wydad Casablanca match corresponded to the African Champions League, in which they faced Simba Sport Club in the quarterfinals. It was the return, which they won 1-0 in regulation time and went to the next phase from the definition on penalties.
Did Goku help them? It is impossible to know if this support had a direct impact on the victory of the Moroccans, but there is no doubt that they must have helped in something. Below we share the three images of the typhus related to Dragon Ball, courtesy of the Central Judge’s Instagram account.
