We all took shock, amazement and even relative bewilderment at that historical moment in which Twitter, Facebook and the main social networks on the planet expelled donald trump.
All derived from the disturbances incited by the president himself, then outgoing, after not recognizing that Joe Biden had been elected as President of the United States instead of him.
As a result of this extreme exile, Trump was quick to announce that he would create his own social network focused on absolute freedom of expression.
That’s how he was born TruthSocial, a platform focused on a very specific sector of citizens where the content basically revolves around the validation of Trump’s political projects.
The point here is that this social network would have multiple essential problems beyond its instability, bugs and interface that is far from perfect.
Donald Trump Owes $1.6 Million Hosting Fee From Truth Social
According to a report from the friends of Fox Business, Truth Social, is being accused by a provider of failing to pay more than $1.6 million in hosting fees. The accusations come from RightForge, an Internet infrastructure company and one of the largest providers of the political platform.
In fact, everything would point to the fact that the administrative financial status of the app “is in significant disorder” and would have multiple problems for its operation in this regard.
Basically from October 2021, the launch month of the social network, RightForge signed an agreement to host Truth Social on its servers to create this space for “an open, free and honest global conversation without discriminating based on political ideology.”
The company, recently formed together with Truth Social, would have been created with the intention of giving rise to the existence of digital platforms that promote the supposed freedom of expression.
But the administrative team of the Trump app since March 2022 would have failed to meet their contractually obligated monthly payments. So they already owe more than USD $1.6 million.
Trump Media and Technology Group would be the legal company behind the founding and operation of Truth Social. Although the former president would actually be a minor investor.
In any case, there is a considerable debt with the only company willing to keep that platform active and the firm is considering taking legal action to force payments.
It seems that Donald Trump has more problems than he appears.
