The luxurious and expensive Star Wars-themed hotel at Walt Disney World will close, almost one day after its opening, the company announced in a statement that was quoted by npr.org.

The themed hotel is being sold as a two-night experience, but will accept last bookings from September 28-30 and reservations will be available for booking through May 26.
Reservations made through May 26 for the theme hotel will be paused to accommodate September reservations.
“We are very proud of all the cast members and imaginators who brought Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to life and look forward to providing a great Guest experience on our remaining voyages in the coming months,” Disney said.
The company appreciated the support during these months
“Thank you to our guests and fans for making this experience so special.”
“Two-night packages start at around $4,800 for two people and go up to $5,299 for two adults and one child and $5,999 for three adults and one child. Prices include lodging, meals, and admission to Hollywood Studios,” explains NPR.
Among one of the attractions of the place dedicated to the Star Wars saga is entering a “launch capsule to board the Halcyon star cruiser, they remain in a room with a space view and can interact with characters from the franchise throughout the ship ”.

Disney gave no explanation
“This premium, boutique experience gave us the opportunity to try new things on a smaller scale of 100 rooms and as we prepare for her final journey, we will take what we have learned to create future experiences that can reach more of our guests and fans. ”, explained the company in a statement.
