Disney + gets millions of followers and approaches Netflix
Despite the fact that for many years Netflix has been the streaming platform par excellence, the truth is that in recent years it has been threatened by other services that, following its example, have entered a market that has even managed to threaten largest productions of film studios.

This growth stands out for its consistency, because even during the pandemic the service increased 37% compared to 2020, reaching 118.1 million subscribers then.
Likewise, 23.2 million are the clients that came to the Disney + platform, while Netflix only managed to harvest 18 million subscribers, almost half of what it had achieved during the first year of the health contingency, 37 million. This sets off alarm bells for the letter company, as it is estimated that by the year 2026 Disney will reach an impressive number of 284 million registered usersdisplacing Netflix as the leading company in streaming services for the first time in history.
Disney + has achieved great popularity around the world, because despite being relatively new, it has a large catalog that has managed to be prominent enough to compete and even surpass other platforms. Among its outstanding content are the new series of Marvel: as Loki, Wandavision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier; the Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Boba Fett series; in addition to National Geographic programming; and, above all, the Pixar programming that has come exclusively to the platform.
