Andrea Mendieta, Country Marketing & PR Manager IKEA Mexico, shared her experience in the world of digital marketing, where she has achieved notable achievements for different companies.
“My first experience with the digital world was at Librería Porrúa, despite being a business with a long history and tradition, the group was undoubtedly faced with the urgent need to explore innovative alternatives that would renew the image of the brand, for so it was decided to promote digital commerce. I was invited to participate in the development project of the first web page”.
Regarding the achievements that Andrea Mendieta has had under the digital marketing method implemented in the structure to encourage companies to improve their services to satisfy their customers, the Country Marketing & PR Manager IKEA Mexico shared their success stories.
“For me, having launched the Librería Porrúa website was definitely a great achievement considering the great efforts that this project involved, understanding of digital commerce at the time, so even though sales have not been exorbitant, the fact was that it gave the great step and having set a milestone in the history of the company”.
Likewise, Andrea Mendieta spoke about the future that digital marketing will have to improve the performance of companies to achieve a better positioning in the sales market.
“The future of digital marketing is exciting and full of opportunities. Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, voice search, augmented reality, virtual reality, and a focus on personalization are just some of the trends and technologies that are changing the landscape.”
Finally, Andrea Mendieta considered that the use of Artificial Intelligence in companies is of vital importance to improve service quality standards when offering and promoting their products.
“I consider Artificial Intelligence (AI) to be a relatively new and constantly evolving technology, there is still much to explore and regulate. This indicates that we are in a period of learning and adapting in terms of fully understanding its potential and limitations.”
