If there is something for which Diablo Immortal has become popular, unfortunately, it is because of its controversial monetization system, about which it has already been said that we would have to spend thousands of euros to optimize our character to the maximum. If it was already practically impossible to get the best items for free, now it turns out that there are hidden limits that allow players to get away with it without spending a dime.
To be able to access everything without going through the checkout, you have to play daily, but because of these limits the experience is considerably worsened, as confirmed by the Forbes portal that redirects the information to a video published by the youtuber echohack, a user who has played over 1,200 hours so far from alpha to now.
By playing, he has discovered these limits that the game does not mention at any time, but that really exist so that no one can take all the objects they want by playing and playing without stopping without paying for it. On this basis, this is what the user in question has managed to find out:
- After getting six Legendary items in one day, the chance of this happening drastically decreases.
- After a group gets a bonus of six normal gems in one day, the chance of getting more decreases dramatically.
- Side quests will not give rewards after completing five on the same day.
- Purple enemies will not give rewards after killing five in one day.
- Random events on the map will not give rewards after participating in five in a single day.
- Zoltan Kule treasure rooms are limited to five per day.
- Hidden dungeons will not drop gems after completing a few sections.
As he details, the main problem with this whole matter is that the players will not be aware of it because the limits are not visible. Therefore, the only way is to be aware of the actions that are completed to not find yourself in the situation of playing for nothing and get a pretty unpleasant surprise, unless you want to pay for it.
Of course, these situations do not help to reduce the anger of the community, as it has made clear when scoring Devil Immortal as one of the worst rated games on Metacritic. At least Blizzard has recently indicated that this will not happen in Diablo IV and the only paid content will be expansions and cosmetic items.
