Back in December Blizzard announced that it was working on Diablo II Resurrected patch 2.4, which was set to be one of the biggest it was going to receive. After several months of waiting, the aforementioned update is now available for download and is full of the most interesting news.
The most important of them all is that, for the first time in the last 12 years, the classes of Devil II have been rebalanced. Although this only affects the remaster, there have been some significant changes that affect the gameplay of the different characters, which will serve to encourage players to think of new strategies when facing the demons of Sanctuary.
Nothing like it had been produced since 2010, so now you can find many changes in skills to further expand the diversity of configurations, but at the same time the essence of each of the classes will be maintained. In addition, there will also be new runewords, more Horadric cube recipes, and a number of changes affecting mercenaries.
Another major novelty is that from April 28 the hierarchy will be activated from Diablo II Resurrectedthe system with which players will compete against each other to reach the highest positions in the leaderboards.
This implies that everyone will have a time limit to gain as much experience as they can. At the end of the season in question, the rankings will be reset and the characters will become normal, which means sharing the loot obtained with the rest of the previously created characters.
In addition, the hierarchy is divided into four different modes: classic with the first four acts; unconditional classic with the first four acts and a single life; expansion with the five acts of the campaign; and unconditional expansion with the five acts and a single life.
version 2.4 of Diablo II Resurrected It is already available on all platforms and it will certainly be a good way to make the wait for the future release of Diablo IV and Diablo Immortal more enjoyable. To check all its news you can take a look at the patch notes.
