By the end of September, Diablo II: Resurrected it will finally be available on consoles and PC. However, this title will come to us in the middle of a turbulent period for Blizzard. The company’s image has been tainted by recent allegations of workplace harassment and abuse, to the extent that Diablo series creator David Brevik has no plans to play and promote this remastering.
David Brevik is the creator of the Dibalo series, took over directing the first two titles, founded Blizzard North, and played a significant role in the company’s early years until its departure in 2003. However, Brevik seems not to be happy with the way your legacy has been handled lately. Through his official Twitter account, the developer was questioned about the possibility of making a stream on Diablo II: Resurrected, and this was his answer:
“Sorry, but I’m not supporting Blizzard right now – including anything related to Diablo 2: Resurrected. I’m not going to buy or broadcast D2R, and my interactions / questions about D2R are going to be very small. “

Without a doubt, it is clear that Blizzard is not having a good time. If someone like Brevik, who was a longtime company major, refuses to promote a remastering of one of their most beloved games, that means that the support for the company is getting smaller and smaller.
Diablo II: Resurrected Coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC on September 23. In related matters, Blizzard is accused of destroying documents for his lawsuit. Similarly, the company has changed the name of McGree in Overwatch.
