Nobody said that it would be easy to make a cult in the name of the one who waits, and that is why the developers of massive monsters created a cast of characters to help us in our mission of Cult of the Lamb. This indie game has everything to be a new gem and the new trailer explains how some of its mechanics work.
In Cult of the Lamb you have to go out into the world to fight against enemies and defeat the leaders of other sects, so the game is divided into your camp and the fights. The new trailer you published Return Digital shows us some of the characters that we will find in both sections.

In Cult of the Lamb we take on the role of a possessed lamb who is saved from annihilation by a sinister stranger, known as the One Who Waits, and decides to pay off his debt by forming a sect of loyal followers. He gathers resources, performs dark rituals, and gives sermons to bolster your flock’s faith, then sets out to explore the randomly generated world.
Ratau is a one-eyed rat who serves as a mentor and friend who teaches you what you need to know about the cults; Clauneck is the guardian of the cards that gives you a choice of two when you meet him, which improve your abilities or statistics of the game; Kudaai is the seller of weapons and curses, he offers us three every time we find him but we can only choose one; Hellob is a spider that catches the poor creatures that wander around, which you can buy to convert into new followers of your sect; and the Fisherman, who is not known if he is a fish or a man, but he gives you sacred talismans when you give him certain fish.
Cult of the Lamb will be released by Devolver Digital on August 11 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PlayStation 5, and Steam on PC, but you can try out its demo now to get an idea of how it plays. In the new trailer we see the characters that will help us improve our cult in its roguelike section.
