As many of you know, for a few months, the future of the Silent Hill saga has been on everyone’s lips thanks to a large number of rumors and leaks. Although, the first clues occurred at the beginning of the year, when Konami itself renewed the brand. As a result of that moment, several leaks originated: images of the remake of Silent Hill, images of the remake of Silent Hill 2 that would be being developed by Bloober Team and another image of the new Silent Hill: The Short Message. So after all, now confirmed the development of new Silent Hill games.
Just a few hours ago, thanks to the well-known Christophe Gans, who was the director of the first Silent Hill movie, he revealed (via MaG – Movie and Game) the return of this legendary Konami franchise, thus confirming the development of new Silent Hill games both by Konami and other development teams, which leads us to think that the 3 leaked Silent Hill games could end up being real.

Development of new Silent Hill games confirmed
I work with the Silent Team, the original creators of Konami, and there are several games in development at the moment. There are several teams working and a wide range of games. They are going to revive the franchise. I think they’re very impressed with the success of the Resident Evil remakes, which really are exceptional. I’m not working directly on the games, but with Konami. Not with Kojima, but with the Silent Team, who I met when I directed the first Silent Hill movie and they still are.
But this is not all, since within the new Silent Hill games that are in development, Christophe Gans has confirmed that the Bloober Team was working on the Silent Hill 2 Remake. With all these completely unexpected news, in the absence of an official statement from Konami, we can already say that Silent Hill is back.
