The Call of Duty: Warzone gaming community is enjoying a number of surprises that have been added to the game in the last month. Of which we can mention that one class, in particular, has dominated the battle royale in recent weeks.
One thing that strikes us as quite eye-catching is that, the double-barreled shotgun charge caught the eye as soon as it was discovered in the season 1 update, and is now infamous for ripping up all lobbies. Able to “fire a shot” from close range, the class was quickly deemed broken.
In fact, many even labeled it as one of the most powerful weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone. Anyone using the load was deemed “toxic” as a result. Now that the holidays are over and the developers are back to work, players finally have an update.
Weeks after the shotgun was brought into focus, Raven Software finally issued a statement, but there have been no changes yet. In the wake of a surprise update on January 5, one that nerfed the not-so-popular invisible skin, the developers made a new announcement.
While it was not included in the latest patch, the double-barreled shotgun is finally ready for a change: “We are aware of the concerns regarding the Akimbo double-barreled shotgun. There will be an adjustment in the near future. “No further details were provided. There is no ETA on when the nerf will arrive, or how the shotgun will be adjusted, but as soon as it is revealed we will share them with you.
