Destiny 2 continues to perform well, with a user base that continues to grow day by day, and with seasons that breathe life into a game that has been on the market for several years. And it seems that Bungie has plans for the future of the title, since Destiny 2 will receive new game modes and maps in seasons 16 and 17.
We have been able to know details of the future of the title thanks to Joe Blackburn, assistant director of the game, who in a thread of Twitter details plans for new maps and PVP game modes in the title. For season 16, Blackburn details that we will see two old maps return, while season 17 and 18 will bring a map respectively. Meanwhile, he assures that in 2022 several new PVP modes will arrive.

Destiny 2 will host an event in August
As we can see, Bungie does not stop at the task of making its beloved title bigger and more complete, which still has a lot of life ahead of it. Hopefully in the two future expansions, Bungie can give a worthy closure to this great title, and thus, be able to continue expanding the universe created in the two previous installments.
