With Mexico as a key point, Depeche Mode announced new dates this 2023 of the world tour for which it is a trend this Friday on social networks.
The band has just announced a new record, the 15th of their career (“Memento”), and will present it in a series of shows that now also include Mexico City.
The album will hit the public this spring (March 24) via Columbia Records, and will be taken to the stage on a global tour titled “Memento 2023”.
The last time Mexico was in Mexico was in 2009, with its “Tour of the Universe” tour. On that occasion, the British band made up of Vince Clarke, Andrew Fletcher, Martin Gore and David Gahan offered four shows: two in CDMX, one in Monterrey and another in Guadalajara.
It should be mentioned that keyboardist Andy Fletcher passed away – at the age of 60 – in May of last year.

Sale of tickets for Depeche Mode in Mexico 2023
The band’s fans are celebrating on Twitter the arrival of Depeche Mode in Mexico, which will take place on September 21 at the Foro Sol. tickets They will go on sale on February 24.
The tour will begin on March 23 with a limited series of shows in the US, with presentations at Madison Square Garden in NY, the United Center (Chicago) and Scotiabank Arena (Toronto).
They will then embark on a tour of Europe (from May 16), highlighting the Stade de France (Paris), the Olympic Stadium (Berlin), the San Siro (Milan) and the Twickenham Stadium (London).
For more than four decades, Depeche Mode have been one of the most iconic bands in the music industry. The combination of electronic, industrial and alternative rock made him sell more than 100 million records worldwide and he is already part of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

That year, 19 million tickets were sold and, in 2022, everything returned to normal, with the best data since 2013. Specifically, in 2022 around 59 million concert tickets were sold worldwide.
