One of the great indie video games of recent years is Darkest Dungeon, a turn-based role-playing game with roguelikes elements, known for its high difficulty and toughness on the player. A while ago, the study Red Hook Studios announced that he was working on a sequel and we will soon be able to test it: Darkest Dungeon 2 already has release date for your early access.
A little over a year ago, the studio promised that it would launch the game in early access during 2021, with temporary exclusivity from the Epic Games Store, and it will. Darkest Dungeon 2 is coming out in Early Access on October 21, 2021 at the Epic store. You can now enter the platform to add the game to your wish list if you are interested in trying it.
Of course, the exclusivity with Epic came accompanied by controversy At the time, but beyond this issue that bothers some players, it is one of the most anticipated games on the independent scene. This second installment will have different locations and it seems that the game will push us to have a smaller army instead of having to hire many heroes.

The original was also released in early access (on Steam) and the studio has once again bet on this formula for the sequel. The game will transition from 2D to 3D, although we still want to see more of those graphical changes. At the moment we have no idea how much the game will cost in early access, since Epic Games has not listed the price yet.
