The FPS Boost technology in the Xbox Series X | S allows backward compatible games to take advantage of the new capabilities of the Xbox Series X | S and reach frame rates impossible in the previous cycle. This is the case of games like Skirynm, Fallout 4 or Battlefield V, among many others, which now have to be added to Dark Souls 3.
After leaking at first, the official Xbox account on Twitter announced that Dark Souls 3 now has FPS Boost on Xbox Series X | S, what allows you to run at 60 fps. A huge improvement to the game from FromSoftware, which could not even stay stable at 30fps on the previous generation of consoles.
