CUPRA has confirmed the main keys of one of the new models that it will introduce in the market for the year 2025. The product offensive launched by the popular Spanish brand includes the launch of a new SUV that will be released in 2024 and will bet for electrification.
SEAT and the Volkswagen Group have officially announced their roadmap to mobilize more than 7,000 million euros with the aim of electrifying Spain as part of their commitment to the development of electric vehicles. Now, Griffiths has cleared up some of the doubts in relation to one of the models that were announced by surprise in the past month of February.
The new CUPRA electrified SUV that will arrive in 2024
The company has disclosed one of the new CUPRA models, which will arrive in 2024. An SUV whose name is unknown but a very important fact has been ratified. And it will not be a 100% electric vehicle. Now, yes, it will bet without complexes on electrification. In its mechanical offer there will be different levels of electrification for which you can choose.
In the range of new CUPRA SUV it will be possible to find versions with 48-volt mild hybrid (MHEV) technology. A hybridization solution for the gasoline engines that will make up the offer. It will reduce both consumption and emissions. And for those most committed to sustainable mobility, it will offer plug-in hybrid versions (PHEV) with an electric autonomy of about 100 kilometers.
CUPRA has ensured that this new SUV will lead the new generation of plug-in hybrid vehicles. Unfortunately, the production process of this new model will not take place in Martorell, since it has been decided make it in hungary. In the same facilities where the Audi Q3 Sportback is currently produced.

This new SUV is just one part of the product offensive launched by CUPRA. A roadmap that includes the launch of a whole series of totally new models.
