CryptoPunk Sells for $2.6M as Floor Prices for Large NFT Collections Rise
A CryptoPunk has been purchased for 2,500 Ether (ETH), about $2.6 million at the time of purchase. Despite a downward move in the overall NFT market, the CryptoPunk4464 related transaction – an ape-looking CryptoPunk has become the largest sale of an NFT in 30 days.
The sale is also the 4th largest lifetime sale of the CryptoPunk collection in ETH, but only the 15th largest transaction in US dollars due to the recent ETH price drop.

NFT Market Valued at $231 Billion in 2030? A report foresees a great growth of the sector
A report by consultancy Verified Market Research predicted that the NFT market could become a $230 billion industry by 2030. When the researchers delved into the space, the team valued the NFT space at $11.3 billion in 2021 and noted that the market will grow at a rate of 33.7% in the coming years.
Examining the main drivers in the space, the researchers identified the gaming industry as one of the arenas driving the adoption of NFTs. Taking note of projects like Enjin and Axie Infinity, the research recognized that games contributed significantly to the adoption of NFTs.

Bill Murray’s NFT Biographical Project To Be Premiered By Coinbase
American actor and comedian, Bill Murray, has partnered with Coinbase’s NFT platform to launch a collection of 1,000 NFTs, noting that it showcases experiences, memories, and “Murray-isms.”
According to Coinbase, the actor and his son meticulously reviewed, edited, and approved each story in the collection. The pair worked with author John Resig to create context with the stories.

Otherside metaverse demo kicks off with 4,500 participants
On July 16, the Otherdeed metaverse demo was launched for NFT landowners nicknamed “Voyagers”. Apparently, the event was a success, with many participants expressing their satisfaction with the experience on Twitter.
During the demo, the “Voyagers” entered a virtual lobby and then followed a massive Bored Ape into a colorful portal that led to the metaverse; Other side. Once the Voyagers arrived at the Biogenic Swamp, they moved into a central arena, allowing participants to explore the functionality of their avatars.
