Monica Geller and Chandler Bing’s love story will always be one of fans’ favorite elements of Friends. And without a doubt, what made that duo so beloved was the chemistry in the performances of Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry.
Hours after Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani) broke the silence personally and said goodbye with an emotional message from his co-star and friend, it is now Cox who pays tribute in Perry.
On her official Instagram account, the actress shared an outtake of one of her favorite moments from Friendsaccompanied by the following words:
“I am so grateful for every moment I spent with you Matty and I miss you every day.
When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share. For now, here is one of my favorites.
To give some context, Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one-night stand in London. But due to the public’s reaction, it became the beginning of their love story.
In this scene, before we started shooting, he whispered a funny line for me to say.
He often did things like that. “He was funny and kind.”
