Know the classification by groups of Sisbén IV
With the incorporation of the most recent methodology of Sisbén IV, Colombian citizens will have the ability to consult their information on the official website. Also, a Citizen Portal will be launched to simplify online processes for the population. To review the classification in Sisbén, it is necessary to enter the following link: HERE.
How can you enroll in the ‘Sisbén IV’?
If you have not yet been surveyed by Sisbén to be eligible to receive some type of subsidy, you need to access the following link from the District Planning Secretariat: https://sisbensol.sdp.gov.co/. It is also possible to go to the Sisbén office in the mayor’s office of the corresponding municipality.

What groups appear in the ‘Sisbén’?
- Group A is made up of individuals with low income or in a condition of extreme poverty.
- Group B is made up of poor households but with a higher income generation capacity than Group A.
- Group C is made up of people in a situation of vulnerability or at risk of falling into poverty.
- Group D is made up of people who are not in a situation of poverty or vulnerability.
How do you know what subsidies you could access?
It is essential to consider that being registered in Sisbén does not ensure automatic obtaining of some type of subsidy from the Colombian Government. The Sisbén is a standardized questionnaire that categorizes the population according to certain previously defined indicators. The entities responsible for the social programs are the ones that determine the requirements for the inclusion, permanence and exit of the beneficiaries.
How to know your Sisbén Score?
If you have questions about your Sisbén Score and want to know it in order to apply for most economic subsidies, you simply have to access the website: https://www.sisben.gov.co/Paginas/landing.aspx. Then, you must select the alternative “Sisbén Score Query” that is located at the top of the site.
Once you have followed the previous steps, you must enter your identification number, click on the option “I am not a robot” and, finally, select “Consult”. How can you know who your family nucleus is? On the page, look for the option “Consult your Sisbén group” and select it. Then, enter the document of your family member in question and click on “Consult”.
