Users from all over the world report crashes in the Waze app. There are server connection issues, app crash, and “unable to detect traffic,” according to comments on social media.
Indeed, the mobile phone application that shows traffic in real time, widely used especially in the morning throughout Latin America, was down for at least two hours.
According to downdetectorthe page that analyzes real-time data on the status of hundreds of websites, reported that Waze shows difficulties in the server connection (65 percent), in the application (35 percent) and in the search for traffic (2 .5 percent).
Waze fails globally
Until the morning of this Tuesday, September 6, Waze has not publicly communicated having had problems or general failures, something that contrasts with the comments on social networks, in addition to the report of Down detector.
The report with the highest number of Waze failures was given at 6:52, Mexico time. 8:52, Argentina time.
Among the reports on social networks, such as Twitter, users from different parts of Latin America share error messages that appear on their smartphones as “no connection to the network.”
