One of the moments that would lay the foundations for the Batman movie within the DC Comics Extended Universe is the Justice League post-credits scene, which introduced us to Deathstroke in the DCEU, a character who could play an important role in future films.

The artist Jay Oliva shared on his social networks the first concept art he made of a scene with Deathstroke and Batman, which ultimately did not happen in Justice League.

“the internet is not ready” reads Oliva’s message, which they shared more than 2,000 times.
In March 2022, Joe Manganiello shared an image of his characterization for the scenes that were recorded for the famous Snyder Cut. This image became his profile picture.
Manganiello noted that he was pleased to play Deathstroke again in Zack Snyder’s Justice League reshoots.
“I was glad to get that call from Zack… There’s been a lot of disappointment in the last four years… Getting that call from Zack to put your suit back on, it was fun”.
James Gunn thought of Deathstroke to integrate him into The Suicide Squad, which ultimately did not happen, but the filmmaker does not rule out incorporating him for future projects.
