Looking at the portion of the budget devoted to health care, The United States has spent the largest percentage of its gross domestic product, with 9.2 percent reserved for health services. Norway and Denmark have been the next countries that have spent the most on health, each with 8.2 percent spent on medical care.
In Chile, on the other hand, only 4.4 percent of the gross domestic product has been spent on health. Hungary and Poland have also spent only 4.6 percent on health services, marking these three countries as the ones that invest the least in health services.
Spain ranks 19th in the study, with 5.9 percent of its total GDP spent on healthcare.
