The presidential candidate of the ruling party in Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, announced this Friday that he will begin a tour throughout the country to obtain a resounding victory in the 2024 electionsin which he seeks to obtain a majority in Congress in addition to the Presidency.
The former head of Government of Mexico City (2018-2023) said that a stage of “unity, organization and mobilization” beginsaccompanied by the strengthening of local and state committees of the ruling National Regeneration Movement (Brunette), to defend and promote the so-called “fourth transformation”.
Sheinbaum indicated that his tour of the country will be carried out under the motto “hope unites us” and his first entity to visit will be Michoacán.in the Mexican Pacific, although he specified that his tour will only be in the capitals and main cities of the 32 Mexican entities in a first stage.
With the presence of the leaders of Morena, a party founded by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, Sheinbaum announced that in his first event all the committees will be sworn in and their tasks will be defined towards the June 2024 elections.

We are now going to begin to define the tasks of promoting the vote, and also the tasks of defending the vote. It is time for unity, to bring together all the teams to face this extraordinary task,” commented Mario Delgado, leader of Morena.
Furthermore, he insisted that they will seek a “conclusive victory” that will give them not only the Presidency, but also the qualified majority of Congress to approve constitutional reforms on its agenda.

Delgado acknowledged that this will depend on the territorial work carried out by the party and its committees, which is why he emphasized that Morena does not forget its essence of going house to house.
In this sense, he pointed out the task of visiting the more than 28 million Mexican homes by stating that Morena will have the best organization that the movement has achieved in its history, “ensuring victory.”
“Today it is proven that we are the largest, but best organized, party in our country,” he commented.
Recently, Sheinbaum also defined three of his campaign coordinators, who were his opponents in Morena’s internal process to define the official candidate in the 2024 presidential elections.
This is the licensed senator Ricardo Monreal, who will be the coordinator of organization and territorial liaison; the former Secretary of the Interior Adán Augusto López, as political coordinator, and Gerardo Fernández, coordinator of spokespersons and link with social and civil organizations.
