According to Deadlines, Cinderellathe new modern adaptation that is available on Amazon Prime Video, is ahead of this competition. To select the winner of this category, fans can vote up to 20 times a day on Twitter. Thus, many were surprised when Cabello’s fans began to fill this social network with comments supporting this film, which has a 43% reception on Rotten Tomatoes.
Beside Spider-Man: No Way Home and Cinderella, a name that caused a great furor was Zack Snyder’s Justice League. However, this film cannot compete in this category, as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences considers this a re-release, and not something new. Let’s remember that Justice League it premiered in 2017, and not in the last year.
