Chris Hemsworth responded to the criticism against Marvel made by filmmakers like Quentin Tarantino or Martin Scorsese. For several months, the debate around the studio’s films has grown stronger and opinions continue to appear. What if it is cinema, what if it is not; that if there are stars in superhero tapes, that if there are not.
Now, Hemsworth joins the discussion. During an interview with british gq, the Australian actor, who we will be able to see soon in Rescue Mission 2, acknowledges that it is not easy for him to see these opinions when they come from acclaimed filmmakers such as those mentioned above. Furthermore, he hinted that none of these directors would want to work with him:
“It’s super depressing to hear that. Here are two of my heroes that I won’t be working with. I guess they’re not my fans.”

The interpreter also mentioned that he really likes being part of something that motivates people to go to the theaters. Reason why he thinks it is important not to detract from other productions. At the same time he made it clear that, if the decision were his, he would work with Tarantino and Scorsese:
«I don’t like that we start criticizing each other when there is so much fragility in the business and in this space of the arts as it is… I say it less to the directors who made those comments, who are all, by the way, still my heroes , and in the blink of an eye I would jump to work with any of them. But I say it more to the general opinion around this issue.
What do you think? Chris Hemsworth responded to the criticism against Marvel, but he has not been the only MCU actor who has defended these tapes. Recently, Elizabeth Olsen did too. come in HERE to find out what he said.
Jose Roberto Landaverde I love writing, listening, reading and commenting on everything related to cinema. I love music and am a fan of The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and Paramore. My favorite movies are Rocky and Back to the Future and obviously one day I’ll climb the “Philly Steps” and drive a DeLorean. Faithful believer that cinema is the best teleportation machine, and also that on the big screen we can all see ourselves represented.
