Spy photos of the new Chevrolet Blazer EV
An enigmatic test specimen of the long-awaited electric Chevrolet Blazer has been hunted in broad daylight. A unit dressed in dense camouflage that, a priori, can pass for a simple model in the development phase but that, in reality, keeps an important secret. And it is neither more nor less than the 100% electric drive system. Our spy photographers note that the vehicle was completely silent and, more importantly, was accompanied by a small fleet of prototypes of the Cadillac Lyriq, another electric SUV.
Just take a quick look at the spy photos that illustrate this article to give you some clues. Despite all the camouflage, you can see that the socket for charging the battery is located on the left front wing. Namely, future electric Equinox and Blazer will have the charging port in the same place.
On the other hand, and if we pay attention to the front, beyond the configuration adopted by the headlights, we find a practically closed grille. The vents are really small in size. And we must bear in mind that the Blazer measures about 4.9 meters long. In addition, and as has already been seen in the preview of the Equinox EV, the electric variant of the Blazer will sport specific design elements with which to enhance its status as an electric vehicle.
