The founder of Tesla, Elon Muskrecently presented its latest creation in generative artificial intelligence: Grok, a model designed to answer questions ‘with a touch of humor’.
And it was as a result of this that Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, did not hesitate to respond sarcastically to this launch.
ChatGPT Vs. Grok
The creator of ChatGPT shared a screenshot where he instructed his GPT Builder to create a chatbot through a particular prompt: that has “cringe boomer humor.”
After testing, Altman demonstrated the speed and versatility of his GPT Builder by create a chatbot called the same way: Grokand that incorporated Musk’s features in a matter of seconds.
This action not only minimized the intelligence and complexity of Musk’s model, but also took advantage of demonstrating the ChatGPT Plus capabilities.
“GPTs can save a lot of effort”Altman sealed in his tweet.
As expected, Altman’s publication generated a wave of reactions inwith thousands of likes and comments criticizing Elon Musk’s ‘uncreative’ project.
We cannot forget that Musk was part of OpenAI in the past, so his relationship with Altman is closer than we think. That may be why the competition between ChatGPT and Grokalong with other chatbots and language models, has become increasingly intense.
