A few months after its launch, the ChatGPT –an artificial intelligence developed by OpenAI– has become a sensation reaching more than 100 million monthly active users in January. This chatbot is capable of answering questions and providing information on a wide variety of topics in real time.
What is ChatGPT?
GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is an artificial intelligence language model developed by OpenAI. It is an autoregressive neural network that has been trained on a large amount of text to generate coherent and relevant information from a given context. In this way, ChatGPT was born to carry out conversations with humans with a wide variety of range such as news, entertainment, history, technology, among others.
Its goal is to provide a quick and accurate response to user questions. It is used in a wide variety of applications, including virtual assistance, customer service, and automated content creation.
Google VS Microsoft: start the war with AI
Currently GPT Chat is one of the most famous, however, Google’s Alphabet Inc reported that it will launch “Bard” in response to the new sensation of intelligent chatbots. But within minutes of this announcement, on Tuesday, February 7, Microsoft held an event at its Redmond headquarters to reveal the revamp of its AI-powered Bing search engine and Edge browser, just weeks after confirming a million-dollar investment in OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT.
Now Google and Microsoft are locked in a new battle to generate artificial intelligence. So far, we know that Bard’s services are similar to GPT, but for now they’re only open to a group of testers, while the giant co-founded by Bill Gates set about reinventing its web co-pilot to offer a new experience.
Understanding the chat
In another we carried out two content exercises with the GPT Chat, in the first we put specific instructions and in the second we only asked a question. Only the first three paragraphs of both exercises will be shown, but the full context can be seen on the agency’s blog.
Can robots replace journalists?
In Spanish, we made this instruction verbatim: “Write a 700-word note on: Why can’t artificial intelligence replace the work of a journalist?”, and he gave us the following content:
GPT CHAT:
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing many sectors, including the newspaper industry. However, despite technological advances, AI still cannot replace the work of a journalist. Here are some reasons why AI cannot fully replace the human journalist.
First of all, AI is very good at performing repetitive tasks and at analyzing large amounts of data. But it still can’t match the human ability to understand the context and complexity of a story. A human journalist can pick up on nuances and subplots that an AI can’t. Additionally, a human journalist can have a unique and personal perspective on a story that an AI cannot imitate.
Second, the AI is susceptible to errors and manipulation. If the AI is fed the wrong data, its analysis and content production will also be wrong. Additionally, the data used to train an AI may be biased or manipulated by individuals or groups with hidden interests. A human journalist, on the other hand, is capable of detecting these errors and manipulations and producing more accurate and reliable content.
Communication for streaming companies
In the second exercise we asked for the following, “what is the best communication strategy for streaming companies?”, and this was given to us by artificial intelligence.
GPT CHAT:
The best communication strategy for streaming companies depends on many factors, such as the objective of the company, its target audience, its budget, among others. In general, an effective communication strategy for streaming companies would include the following:
- Personalized content: Create content that is relevant and attractive to your target audience, whether it be through online ads, promotional videos, blogs, among others.
- Collaboration with influencers: Identify relevant influencers in your niche and work with them to promote your service.
How to squeeze the AI?
The previous exercises show a neutral use of Spanish, and above all a future opportunity for teams to be trained to use this tool, but in an inspirational way, that is, to take artificial intelligence to create and build instead of using it to ease.
To get the most out of chat through marketing, some steps to follow can range from customizing the user experience, creating automated content but under the supervision of an expert due to the flaws that this technology still has, answering queries , analyze data and solve doubts in real time.
