In late 2021, Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York returned to the small screen in style, giving ‘Sex and the City’ fans a new dose of their cosmopolitan adventures in the late sequel ‘And Just Like That…’. Now, four months later, The people of HBO Max have already given the green light to a second season.
And so, without further ado, second season
This new season is a most logical maneuver if we take into account that the series became the premiere most views of a new original on the streaming platform and came to sneak into the top ten of all releases, including movies and series. Knowing this, it is not surprising that the executive producer Michael Patrick King be excited about this new batch of episodes.
This is how he shared it in a release:
“I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant and bold characters, played by these powerful and incredible performers. In fact, we are all excited”
For its part, Sarah Aubrey, President of Original Content at HBO Maxhas underlined the company’s trust in the technical and creative team after production:
“It has been a delight listening to the cultural conversation generated by these characters and their stories, set in a world we already know and love. We are proud of the work of Michael Patrick King and what our wonderful writers, producers, performers and crew have done.” made to bring those stories to the screen. We can’t wait for fans to see what we have in store for Season 2!”
At the moment, the second season of ‘And Just Like That…’ does not have a premiere date marked on the calendar, but Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will wear Manolos again for the occasion. And in case there was any doubt, Kim Cattrall’s eternal Samantha will not be there, nor is she expected.
