Sony Pictures has unveiled the brutal new trailer for Venom: there will be carnage, in which we can see a Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) unleashed turned into Carnage
We already have a new preview of VENOM: There will be Carnage, the long-awaited second installment of the most famous symbiote in the Marvel universe, which will be released exclusively in theaters on October 8, 2021.
Tom Hardy returns to the big screen to bring to life the deadly protector Venom, one of Marvel’s most popular and complex characters. Directed by Andy Serkis, the film will also star Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson as the villain.
In this new preview we can see how the serial killer Cletus Kasady played by Woody Harrelson becomes the famous symbiote known as Carnage, although the way to assimilate the parasite of alien origin is somewhat different from the material of the original comics, since in They Eddie Brock shared a cell with Kasady. After joining Brock again with Venom, he escapes from prison without realizing that he had left a descendant of the symbiote in the place that later joins Kasady. In the film directed by Andy Serkis, Brock is called to the maximum security prison on Ryker Island by Kasady to tell the journalist his story, during his encounter with him, he bites him and tastes Brock’s blood contaminated by Venom, which transforms him from Carnage.
The trailer also shows the difficult relationship of the strange couple formed by Brock and Venom, as well as the reveal of Shriek character played by Naomi Harris (James Bond: Skyfall) who is locked up in the prison for supervillains known as Ravencroft Institute, she in the comics is Carnage’s sentimental partner, so hopefully we will see them together in the film facing off against Venom.
