As reported by the company through the official Twitter account of Resident Evil, save games will be transferred automatically from one version to anotheralso including all DLCs purchased both through the Gold editions and individually.
In the case of having the titles in physical format, Smart Delivery will be in charge of providing us with the next gen version in digital format. However, we will still need the discs to play. If, on the other hand, we are in possession of the version in digital format, the process will be fully automated, as is customary in other similar cases.
Finally, Capcom has clarified that, for now, they have no plans to release these new generation versions in physical formatso if we want to get hold of any of the three games we will have to buy the new versions of Xbox Series X/S in digital format, or those of Xbox One to receive the free update.
