The story of a supposed recruiter, where she reveals the harassment she was a victim of by contacting the wrong person on WhatsApp reveals one of the many anecdotes told in RH2.0.
Managing talent through digital resources such as an online CV or standing out on social networks such as LinkedIn, becomes crucial to understand the dynamics in the labor market today.
WhatsApp has become an essential social network to talk about recruitment and talent management.
A mistake spirals out of control and what could have been a great hiring story ended in harassment for a recruiter, who hoped to dial the correct number of WhatsApp of a candidate, who wrote it wrong in her CV.
The incident is an interesting case of how human resources and the capacity of new communication channels have evolved, at a time when it becomes bold for brands to have better communication guidelines with the consumer.
Through these elements, we must not lose sight of an element that is crucial in this exercise and that is to understand what is worth when establishing a hiring strategy.
This after an apparent recruiter, a fact that we cannot confirm because there are no professional details on her Twitter profile, denounced how a bad CV ended with a call to a wrong user through Whatsapp.
The anecdote was related by the user “D-end.” who assured that he communicated via WhatsApp with a candidate for one of his vacancies, commenting that a colleague named Alfredo provided him with his profile, so he asked him for a moment to talk.
“A candidate put her phone number wrong on her CV, I wrote to that number to look for her and this happened. When I wrote, I had a kitten photo on WhatsApp, a couple of days ago I changed it. If that happened to me, how many stories will the HR people have?” the woman asked herself, when she began to receive messages asking her to send “packs”, as pornographic images are known.
