The Ricochet anti-cheat system is one of the most useful tools that Call of Duty Vanguard and Call of Duty Warzone have to deal with cheaters whose only purpose in life is to ruin the experience of the rest of the players in the world. Luckily, Activision is still looking for more ways to stop them.
That is why the new function that has been implemented in this system is very curious, especially because it will turn the experience of cheaters into something totally different from a shooter. More than anything because the new effect causes these individuals they are totally unarmed and cannot attack in any way.
Once the program detects that a person is cheating, they will instantly lose all weapons, including their fists. Therefore, there will be no way for them to cause harm to their legally playing opponents, so they will become very easy prey by being so sold out that they can’t do anything about it.
This measure is added to that of turning exemplary players into gods and also into ghosts, so it is expected that these measures will continue to take effect so that cheaters think twice before playing in such a frowned upon way. Of course that does not mean that expulsions will continue for those who do not learn the lesson.
On the other hand, Activision has indicated that all these improvements and novelties will be present in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and war zone 2.0 so that the experience is as satisfactory as possible from the first day.
