Spain hides wonderful and paradisiacal corners that are worth knowing. And on the Costa Blanca there is one of them. Is about Moraig Cove, one of the most wonderful beaches in Spain, located between Moraira and Javea (Alicante), a cove with crystal clear turquoise waters, flanked by cliffs.
Located in Poble Nou de Benitatxell (Marina Alta), in this cove you can enjoy the beach itself and the Cueva dels Arcs, its most photographed corner. a spectacular grotto with a freshwater river.
This beautiful cove of 300 meters, of gravel and sand, is one of the most spectacular places in Spain. Turquoise waters, ancient rocks, seagrass beds… and two beach bars and sun loungers make up this idyllic place, perfect for spending a wonderful day at the beach with family or friends. Above the cove there is an ideal viewpoint for photography.
How to get to Cala del Moraig
To get there you have to cross the Cumbres del Sol urbanization and descend a steep slope to the cove (the town and the cove are separated by a journey of about 10 minutes). Once in the cove, it is advisable to wear flip-flops to swim because there are stones.
The beach allows nudism, which is usually concentrated in the farthest area, at the end of the cove.
It is advisable to arrive early to avoid parking problems, although it offers a shuttle bus service every 15-20 minutes that connects the car park with the cove. It has access for people with reduced mobility.
