This movement is part of the British company’s plan to strengthen the comprehensive health services it offers in the country. The total investment for the purchase, renovation, digitalization and expansion of the health center will be more than 350 million pesos.
A little over 17 years ago, Bupa arrived in Mexico with the mission of marketing insurance for major medical expenses. Its expansion began in 2020, with the launch of national coverage insurance, and was consolidated with the incorporation of the Vitamédica provider network in 2021.
By incorporating the Bité Médica hospital into the group, Bupa seeks to expand the care offer for policyholders and improve collaboration with the rest of the hospitals, in order to provide the best possible medical care,” the company said in a statement.
In addition to offering medical services, the hospital will also have a dental area to cover the dental needs of patientsjust as the insurer has already implemented it in other countries such as Australia, the United Kingdom, Spain, Chile and Brazil.
