The movements continue after the purchase by PlayStation.
One of the great business movements occurred at the beginning of this year when we were able to see that Bungie was acquired by Sony with different conditions such as being able to publish their games on other platforms, but whose basic objective was to use the technology and experience of the studio for the game creation as a service. And under this same premise we can see that it seems that there is already movement in Bungie.
This is because in recent months there has been multiple rumors about the projects they would have in hand, giving rise to this so that we can see that they could already be working on a new game, with many pointing to a Destiny-related release. However, everything now points to could be the revival of an old saga.
Tom Henderson speaks out about future Bungie projects
In this case, the information comes to us from Tom Henderson, a well-known insider who affirms that Bungie is working on Marathona trilogy of games within the FPS genre that dates back to the 90s by the studio, and can be, in a certain sense, considered as the forerunner of halo.
In this way, the report published by this insider speaks of the game would have an online structure similar to the view with Destiny as a game as a service (just what Sony wanted with the purchase) when it comes to carrying out missions and different objectives, but in squads of three players, being that the main difference is when defeat means losing everything.
Of course, it must be clear that according to Henderson the title would still be in pre-alpha phase, so there would still be enough time to see it in stores. However, it is not ruled out that we may have an announcement soonalthough that is something we will have to verify or not over time.
