Searching every corner of Destiny, Destiny 2 and all its expansions to find the clue.
That Bungie is working on a new IP is a fact that has been rumored for a long time, but it intensified following its purchase by PlayStation earlier in the year. Now, it appears that the studio has been teasing this announcement through an easter egg from Destiny 2but no one has any idea what it could be.
This story begins with a tweet from Christopher Barrett, director of Destiny: Rise of Iron and developer of Destiny 2, where he posted an image of the Halo 3: ODST poster that anticipated that Destiny was going to be Bungie’s next project after leaving the Halo series, only no one knew it then. A fan asked Barrett if they had done the same thing with his new IP and Destiny 2 and the answer was “Yes, it can”.

Sure, now the hard part is knowing what is that Destiny 2 easter egg that refers to the new Bungie IP, it could be anything. Nobody would have thought in 2009 that that Halo 3: ODST poster referred to a game that would arrive five years later after the separation of Bungie from Halo. It seems that it will be difficult to find out before this new project is announced, it could be anything, literally.
New stage of Bungie with PlayStation
The purchase of Bungie by Sony is a bit strange, not only because it could have paid more than the account according to some analysts, the main reason for this acquisition was to help PlayStation meet its goal of launching 10 games as a service in a period of four years. Although it is not entirely clear if this new Bungie IP will be exclusive to PlayStationthe company announced that it would become an independent subsidiary with the option to release games on a cross-platform basis.
