It was in 2017 when Bruce Straley decided to shelve the video game industry. The one who was director of Uncharted 4 and creator of The Last of Us was leaving without being sure if he would return at some point. Now, the creative has decided to take the step of returning.
And he doesn’t do it alone or to his old home, Naughty Dog. On this occasion we must welcome a new member of the industry such as Wildflower Interactive, the studio with which Straley wants to shape his next project.
The objective of the developer will be to offer a work environment in which the creation process can be enjoyed and the entire staff is valued. While we don’t know exactly what their first game is about, they say they will focus on “small works, full of creativity and with a unique artistic section to explore the possibilities of the medium”.
Of course, while he already has several members on staff, Wildflower is looking to bring on even more talent right now. You can check the positions if you are interested and thus be able to collaborate with people who have shaped Call of Duty, The Pathless, Abzû, Kena: Bridge of Spirits or Astroneer.
