After a short delay, Kena: Bridge of Spirits will finally be releasing on consoles PlayStation and PC this month. Now that your development is almost finished, Ember Lab was asked about his future plans in a new interview with SoulVision Magazine. For now it seems that there are no plans to work on a sequel, however, there is the possibility that its creators expand this universe through other media such as television or film.
Of course, the studio will be committed to providing support for the game in the near future. They even hinted that there might possibly be DLC, but regarding their next project, the studio’s co-founder, Josh griersaid the following:
“I don’t know if we will do a direct sequel. We could make another IP. Kena and the universe that we have built has enormous potential, so there is a possibility that we decide to explore it with other means such as a TV series or a movie. “
In accordance with Grier, the story of Kena it will be one of the strongest elements in the entire game. Of course, the gameplay will also need to keep up with the narrative, and from what we’ve seen so far, it looks like it won’t disappoint.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits the next one is launched September 21st for PS4, PS5 and PC.
