It is not the first time that Nintendo and LEGO have collaborated in launching Mario sets, but nothing compared to the Bowser set that both companies are preparing for the end of the year. With 2,807 pieces, the Mighty Bowser will be Nintendo’s largest to date and recommended for adults, since it is a much more complex construction than the rest of the Mario line products, which were focused on children.
It turns out that this Mighty Bowser not only has the figure of Bowser himself and the platform with two towers that accompany him, he will also have his own of his own fireball cannon and a button to control the movements of the figure. Both the head, legs, arms and tail will be movable.
As if that were not enough, LEGO confirms that this Bowser set will be compatible with LEGO Super Mario Starter Course to be able to recreate a battle between Bowser, Mario and Peach, and provide an interactive added value to this figure. “What allows a truly immersive, digitally enhanced game“, explains Lego in a release.
“Adding LEGO Super Mario The Mighty Bowser really is a blast from the past for many adult LEGO (AFOL) fans. He may be the big boss, but he still brings a warm sense of nostalgia to adult Super Mario fans around the world,” said Carl Merriam, Senior Designer for LEGO Super Mario.
This LEGO Super Mario The Mighty Bowser set will go on sale starting next October 1st At a price of €269.99 or dollars both on the official LEGO website and in specialized stores around the world.
Bowser, above tactical
Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope also arrives in stores in October, the October 20 specifically, a sequel to the Ubisoft game tactical action in the purest XCOM style that triumphed in 2017 along with the launch of Nintendo Switch. Apart from various playable novelties, this new installment of the series will have a great addition, Bowser will be one of the new playable characters of the group.
