On Twitter, the case of a boss who, after losing company equipment, has gone viral, asking for support from employees to help him pay.
The labor reality in Mexico is very uneven: employees who, in general, have salaries between eight and 10 thousand pesos per month, with bosses who boast extremely exorbitant monthly earnings.
Even, According to the Labor Observatory of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS), the average professional salary in Mexico is 12,931 pesos per month.
On the other hand, we are in a moment of economic recovery, after the pandemic has left a trail of 2.1 million unemployed in Mexico, according to data from the National Survey of Occupation and Employment prepared by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi).
And it is that, due to the confinement that was experienced in various countries, the closure of companies and the low influx of consumers caused a significant increase in the number of people who, unfortunately, lost their jobs.
According to estimates from the International Labor Organization (ILO)published in September 2020 and cited by Statista, a total of 1,000 million jobs were lost globally, with the American continent being one of the regions that suffered the most from the economic crisis derived from the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
That is why, in times that seem to give way to the post-pandemic, employment is essential in a context of economic recovery, in addition to the fact that, for years, one of the demands of workers lies in the fact that develop in a good work environment and, above all, equitable.
However, as we mentioned at the beginning, there are companies where there is a large salary difference and where, sometimes, employees are forced to pay out of pocket for mistakes made by some bosses or superiors.

A similar case has been made known on Twitter, a social network where a user revealed a very peculiar case in the company where she works.
According to what he relates in his tweet, his boss, whom he describes as “the most despicable I have ever had”, lost company equipment and, through a message in the company chat, asks employees for “support” to pay for a mistake he made the top.
It should be noted that, according to the words of the tweeter, said boss had a salary of “100 thousand pesos”, for which, he mentions, it seemed unfair that employees were asked for said “support” for a mistake they did not commit.

The reaction of Internet users, of course, has not been long in coming and the case has sparked several criticisms against the superior in question and others that are launched against the company, whose name has not been given.
Now, there is no doubt that, in any work environment, a good environment is vital for the proper development of employees and, incidentally, for the company to achieve the results it expects.
This is even revealed by Great Place to Work, a consultancy that indicates that, “Work climates have a direct impact on the production and development of workersthat is, it affects their emotions, their motivation and their commitment to the company”.
