In Latin America, it is common to see an enterprising person inside classrooms or even in some offices, who, in order to earn extra money, puts sweets and treats on sale to save their classmates a trip back to the store.
In some cases, these entrepreneurs request permission from the relevant authority to carry out their sales and although it is not always allowed, there is an opportunity to do so clandestinely.
Although in most cases when these “little stores” are discovered, the business ends, this time it was not like that, since this employee was discovered by her boss and not only decided to support her, but also shared her story on networks and now it’s viral.
Eddie Velasco is a businessman from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, who through a publication in Twitterproudly shared that he surprised one of his employees with a “little clandestine store” inside the office.
Far from being bothered by what he discovered, the man pretended to have no idea of the fact and claims to be proud of the woman’s undertaking, because due to that small business, he manages to have an extra income.
So far, he has not taken action against the employee and revealed that he does not plan to do so, on the contrary, he considers that the “little store” prevents his workers from asking for time to go to the store during working hours.
In addition, Eddie considers himself a frequent customer of the “little clandestine store”, although on some occasions he tries not to see and pass by so as not to buy, since they are a temptation and he prefers to avoid them so as not to gain weight.
Both the employees and the boss are happy with the service that the secret shop offers, although Eddie says that the only thing it lacks is to sell loose cigarettes.
The boss’s publication did not end there, because within the comments of the thread on Twitter, the man shared a photo of a bag full of sweets that the employee gave him as a thank you for allowing him to start his business in the office.
The incredible action of this boss did not go unnoticed by users, so countless Internet users, through their comments, congratulated Eddie for being a cool, understanding and empathetic boss with his employees.
Eddie assured that he is the owner of the company, so the employee’s little store is safe from being closed. In addition, he commented that when they have meetings in the office, the candy entrepreneur is in charge of organizing the taquiza.
I wish other bosses would see Eddie’s empathy with his workers as an example and that instead of judging, they would dare to support, after all, you always crave a sweet in the office.
