The study erases its promises, but it does not go unnoticed.
When everyone seemed to have forgotten about Abandoned and all its promises to keep, apart from all kinds of theories about the game, the controversy splashes Blue Box Studios again because, far from addressing the status of the project, it would have dedicated itself to delete old tweets about supposed features that the game would have. At this point there are already those who question the very existence of the game.
As we can read in the forums of ReseteraBlue Box Studios would have deleted tweets that referred to the alleged playable demo of Abandoned to be released “soon” and “a small patch” that the game’s interactive app on PS5 needed to display the 6 GB of content it had prepared. Of course, neither of these things came true, and quite a few months have passed without any news about Abandoned. “I don’t think that game has ever existed,” says this user.
previously tweeted a lie about the reason the trailer app was 6gb was because it actually contained way more footage but it just needed a small patch to fix a tech issue. After many months passed, all these tweets have been deleted. I don’t think that game ever existed.

history repeats itself
For a long time, the development of Abandoned has seemed more like a theater than a real project, and This is not the first time that Blue Box has flirted with fraud.. The Dutch studio has a well-known history of half-baked games, unfulfilled promises, and unreturned funding campaigns. Despite the fact that he came to promote the announcement of the game, not even PlayStation itself knows what happens to the game.
We will see what finally happens with Abandoned, but things look really bad. For now, the game is still dated for 2022.
