If there is a saga that has been sounding strongly for years, but without finishing announcing anything, that is without a doubt Silent Hill, which last year was already speculated that it would have an announcement. However, as I have pointed out, it seems that it does not finish materializing, so everything that surrounds the IP does not leave the scope of rumors. In fact, many have been those who have pointed to a collaboration between Konami and Bloober Team, the team behind the recent The Medium as the way to bring the current generation to Silent Hill. However, it seems that the shots are not going there.
Along with reports that the studio was developing 3 games, the CMO of Bloober Team, Tomasz Gawlikowski, to clarify that none of these 3 is Silent Hill. In fact, H20, the code name of the project that was awarded to the IP, has turned out to be a sequel to Layers of Fear.
Likewise, with respect to the other two projects, Dum spiro Y Black, the first has been frozen in its development because they were not going towards a solid title to commercialize. For his part, Black maintains development, but changing the idea that was had about him from a medieval game with an alien invasion to something of which he has not given data. Regarding rumors about the development of a Silent Hill and the collaboration with Konami, since Bloober Team No comment has been made other than that there are 2 projects in development, one being in the production phase and the other in pre-production. We will have to wait to see if the rumors are fulfilled or fall on deaf ears.
