This week, Sony had the luxury of opening the PlayStation Showcase program in a big way, with the announcement of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – Remake. The legendary game of role and adventure BioWare is back with a long-awaited adaptation to modernity.
And why are we talking about a PlayStation ad on our website? Well because even though it’s exclusive to PS5 on consoles, we can also get hold of the game on PC. It has been confirmed by the developer himself, Aspyr, on Twitter. The name is probably not familiar to you, yes.
It so happens that until now, Aspyr had barely worked on the adaptation from games to other platforms; including KOTOR’s own iOS and Android version. Their goal is to create something that lives up to other modern releases, which is why they will collaborate as well. Lucasfilm Games and PlayStation.
With the Lucasfilm Games seal, games as promising as this one that concerns us are already being managed, but also Ubisoft’s open-world Star Wars or Bethesda’s Indiana Jones game. For now, there is no release date and no gameplay material or in-game images.
