It’s no secret that 2K Games is currently developing a new installment of Bioshock, which, in the absence of an official name, is known as Bioshock 4 and Cloud Chamber is the study behind the fourth installment of the franchise created by Ken Levine, which is also in absolute silence since its development started in 2017.
However, it seems that a recent leak could have revealed new data around the game and, more specifically, with its launch window. As you may have already guessed, this leak is the one that Nvidia’s streaming service GeForce Now has recently suffered, giving a long list of games that have been unveiled, from Kingdom Hearts 4 to a new Batman title. And with all this, Bioshock has also had its share of the paste.
Bioshock 4 would arrive on PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X / S in 2022
In this way, in the long list that is included in this service filtration, the name of Bioshock 2022 has been discovered, which could indicate that this would be the year in which the 4th installment developed by Cloud Chamber would arrive and that, according to the director of Bioshock 2, it should break with the old formula of the previous installments.
Now with all this said it seems that the authenticity and validity of the game list is yet to be seen, since until we see the announcements and launches and, above all, if they end up being fulfilled, We cannot take for granted everything that has been said and shown. That is why it would be necessary to take all this information with tweezers until official confirmation is given in this regard.
For the rest, it will be necessary to see if the forecast is met and the game is released in 2022 or 2023, since after years of development, there are many fans of the saga who have arduous desires to embark on a new installment. Likewise, if the title arrives in 2022, this would be equivalent to it shouldn’t be too long until 2K Games shows or says something. We will have to be vigilant in the months to come.
