You have to be very abused because everywhere there are people who seek to defraud or rob us. Unfortunately, at Buró de Crédito we receive comments from people who say they have paid a person or a company that promised to modify or eliminate some information contained in their Special Credit Report or even promise to change the risk indicator score My Score.
On internet pages, on social networks, in timely notices and even in public announcements, I have seen how charlatans look for victims to steal their money and personal data. In some States of the Republic I have even seen commercial premises announcing these miracle services that nobody has any way of being able to offer. Not to be believed!
To attract their victims, fraudsters make their ads attractive with legends such as “we will remove you from the Credit Bureau”, “we will remove you from the Credit Bureau”, “we will clean up your Bureau”, “we will modify your Credit Report”, ” we raise your My Score”, “we eliminate debts”, “we help you obtain credit even if you are bad in the Bureau”, “we protect you before the Bureau legally”, and a long etcetera.
Those who fall into the trap are going to lose hundreds or even thousands of pesos because the fraudsters charge dearly. On their sites or advertisements, scammers give account numbers supposedly in the name of the Credit Bureau or a company or a legal firm, when in reality, when seeing the deposit ticket, the account comes out in the name of a physical person that who knows if it exists.
Fraudster sites have even come to offer advice in order to convince the potential victim.
And fraudsters are not only after the money of those who fall into their networks, no, there are those who even take the opportunity to commit double fraud by asking the victim for their personal information and a copy of sensitive documents to steal their identity and, with it, to obtain official documents and/or credits in your name.
It is important that we all know that the credit records in a Credit Bureau history can be deleted and, if so, it is done automatically. Credit Bureau includes the estimated date of elimination within the Credit Report in the section “Summary of Credits”. There, the credits that are reported as closed appear with the estimated month and year of elimination. Those of us who pay our commitments punctually will not be interested in the latter; That is why I invite everyone to make their budget, update it and stick to it to always be a punctual payer and build a healthy and attractive credit history, free of any worries.
To be notified of changes in the Credit Report, including the removal of credits from the credit history, everyone can request the “Alert Me” service for free, which sends notifications by e-mail. This service can only be requested at www.burodecredito.com.mx Right there people can request their free Credit Report once every twelve months and many other things that are free.
