Meteor (Dirs. Andy & Lana Wachowski, 2008)
Once the Matrix trilogy was completed, the Wachowskis decided to forget about futuristic conspiracies to work on an adaptation of the manga – and later anime – Mach GoGoGo, better known in Mexico as Meteoro. This is how we met the Racers, a family specialized in the world of motorsports and whose son is shaping up to become the best sprinter of all time. Too bad that to achieve this, the young hero will not only have to overcome his opponents on the track, but also a corrupt system that seeks to annihilate him. We know it’s not the Wachowskis’ best film, but its daring visual technique is fascinating from start to finish!
