In a recent interview, the actor Benedict Wong talked about the possibility of seeing a television series spin off from Doctor Strange starring his character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, wong.
The actor admitted that it would be a wonderful idea to continue the character’s story on the small screen, noting that he would be fully up for it.
Wong then went on to say that the series could go anywhere, mainly because we see Wong open portals but viewers don’t know where they lead.
Well, look, hey, I’ll have to wait for Wong-tourage to make the banners, they’re rioting in the streets now. Hey, what do we say? It would be wonderful, wouldn’t it? He certainly would be willing to do it, definitely. Where would we go with that? We could go anywhere. Until now, we always have Wong going through a portal and we don’t know what happened for the last 5 years, so maybe there is a story in that. Yes, like a series of 5 years. And some do that very well.
Without being asked for the idea, Wong presented a concept for his own collaboration in that hypothetical series with the ned leeds from Jacob Batalongiving rise to a series around a sorcerer and his apprentice.
I would like the idea of a sorcerer and his apprentice with Ned as my apprentice. Obviously, he already has some old skill with portals.
Obviously, this is given by what we could see in Spider-Man: No Way Homewhere Ned learns to open portals and is even responsible for the visit of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man to his universe.
